This post is all about the best stores for dorm shopping!
Dormify
Of all the best stores for dorm shopping, Dormify is by far my favorite and where I will be getting the majority of my freshman dorm essentials from.
When I tell you they have everything, they literally have everything.
If you want something one-stop, all-in-one, and easy, Dormify is the way to go.
While there stuff is definitely not cheap, it is pretty reasonably priced compared to other stores. Everything is also super high quality, so it is worth the cost because it will last you multiple years in the dorms.
One of the best parts about Dormify is there bedding options. Especially if you plan on getting all of your bedding essentials from there (sheets, comforter, throw pillows, throw blanket), everything is going to match because it is all coming from the same place.
Whether it’s bedding or furniture, they have so many options and colors of everything they sell.

Amazon
Of course Amazon had to make it on this list, because these days you can literally buy anything and everything from Amazon.
Whether it’s bedding, decor, or furniture, I am sure you can find super cute and great quality items from Amazon. Just be careful and make sure to check reviews and do your research before buying so you make sure it is worth it.
Plus, Amazon is great because almost everything has free shipping and comes super fast, which makes it so convenient (especially for last minute items you forget to buy!)
Target
Target is great for all the cutest decor and bedding pieces for your dorm room. Most at Target will be pretty reasonably priced and good quality, although some items can get a little expensive
Target is also great for bins, baskets, and organizers that aren’t crazy expensive like some others on this list. You can get super cute and affordable matching bins for around your dorm room to organize everything you bring.
Bed Bath
Bed Bath is another one of my personal favorites for my dorm room this fall. Not only are all the items good quality and super cute, they make things super easy for college students.
First of all, if you sign up for the College Savings Pass, you save 20% on everything you buy, which adds up to a lot of money when you buy a lot from them.
Also, for anyone flying to your college, shopping with Bed Bath simplifies trying to ship all of your items somewhere new. Instead, Bed Bath has a program where you can pre-order all of your items up to 60 days in advance and pick them up at a Bed Bath near your school.
Dorm Co
DormCo is a similar store to Dormify in that they specialize in all the best products for dorms specifically.
They have so many varieties of a bunch of bigger pieces you need for your room, including bedding, headboards, trunks, seating options, bookshelves, and extra storage pieces.
This stuff is pretty similarly priced to Dormify: not crazy expensive, but also definitely not cheap.
Society6
While Society6 has plenty of furniture pieces and some bedding, the best thing for a dorm room from here is wall art and wall prints.
They have the cutest variety of art and canvas prints, framed prints, posters, and more. They also sell this wall art in sets, making decorating the wall a million times easier. Plus, most of the basic prints aren’t too expensive.
PBTeen
PBTeen is another store that has a little bit of everything for your dorm room.
The stuff here is reasonably priced and usually pretty good quality, so it’ll last you a few years in a dorm room. You can get such cute bedding sets, decorations, and furniture pieces from PBTeen.
Home Goods/TJ Maxx/Marshalls
I’m gonna be honest, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls are 100% hit or miss stores.
You can walk into any of the three and walk out with an entire dorm room, or leave without a single thing in your hand.
If you can get lucky, these stores are the best for random decor pieces, little knickknacks, bedding, organizers, and more for your dorm room. Plus, a lot will be a little cheaper than at some of the other stores on this list.
The Container Store
While The Container Store is definitely on the more expensive end for dorm shopping, it has super high quality organizers and bins to get your room looking absolutely spotless and organized.
These products will last you through your years in the dorms and even if you move into an apartment, which makes some of their prices a little easier to bear.
Plus, your room will be the most organized dorm room you’ve ever seen with some of these products!
Etsy
For decor specifically, Etsy has some super cute shops that you can get pretty inexpensive wall prints, collages, and more. Definitely be sure to do some research and check reviews to make sure the seller is reputable, but other than that, have fun picking out cute decorations for your room!
Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is another one that is definitely on the more expensive end of this list of the best stores for dorm shopping.
While some items can get pricey, they have super cute decor pieces, wall art, and some bedding options that will make your dorm room look amazing.
