This post is all about rainbow fruit skewers!

The fruits
To make the process easiest, I like to set up an assembly line in the order of the fruits. There are so many options for each color, so be sure to use whatever is your favorite. Some options are:
Red | watermelon, strawberries |
Orange | cantaloupe, oranges |
Yellow | pineapple |
Green | kiwi, honeydew, green grapes |
Blue | blueberries |
Purple | purple grapes |
Clouds | marshmallows, yogurt dip, whipped cream |
For my skewers, I used watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries, purple grapes, and marshmallows.
Assembly
If you are making these by yourself, just start from one end and work your way through the rainbow.
These are also great to make with multiple people or kids, and each person is assigned to a fruit or fruits. Then you just pass the skewer down the line.
I love using a large clear tray to line the skewers up, but use whatever you have. Try to make about 1-2 skewers per person.
