Best productivity hacks For Girl Bosses
Here are my top 5 best productivity hacks for whatever type of lifestyle you are living! Just applying these 5 tips to your life will make the biggest difference.
set goals
This doesn’t have to be anything big and crazy. And honestly, it’s probably best not to be.
First of all, let me tell you why you should be setting goals?
Without goals, what’s the point. You need to have something to keep you going and keep you motivated, or else it becomes all too easy to quit.
While these goals should be specific, they should also be straightforward and as uncomplicated as possible. Get straight to the point with what you want to accomplish, when you want to accomplish it, how you plan on accomplishing it, and any other details that you think are important.
Once you’ve got your goals, you can move onto the hard part… actually following through with them.
The worst thing you can do is make lofty goals with no plan to achieve them. Instead, make an actionable plan to accomplish your goals, whether it be something big or small.
create a morning and night routine

How can you possibly expect yourself to have a productive day if you don’t have a productive start to that day? Better yet, how can you have a productive day if you didn’t prepare for that day the night before?
Morning and night routines are more important than you think, and this wouldn’t be a productivity hacks list without this tip!
Create realistic and sustainable routines for yourself for both the morning and nighttime. Like your goals, they don’t need to be crazy, just realistic.

know when you work best
This productivity hack is commonly overlooked, but SOOO important.
If you truly want to maximize your productivity during the day, you need to figure when you are your most productive self.
Is it right when you wake up? Before going to sleep? Right when you finish work/school?
Whenever it may be, try to spend a few days determining your “peak times.” This means that you have the most energy and effort you are willing to put into your work.
Using this knowledge, plan your schedule, to-do lists, and obligations around when you know you will be your best and when you may not be.
DELEGATE WHAT YOU CAN
YOU don’t have to do everything! Although this is sometimes tough to grasp, it is SO important to understand and remind yourself of.
If whatever it is you need to do absolutely has to get done and has to get done by YOU specifically, go ahead and do it. But, try to figure out what you can delegate to others (or yourself at a later time/date).
Doing this gives you the time for the things that actually need your energy.
be realistic
Above all, with all of the productivity hacks above, as well as the coming tips, remember to be realistic with yourself. You know you best, so don’t overextend yourself!
Productivity hacks for students

I could write 2,000 words on this tip alone. In an effort to keep it short, here are my best planner resources!
plan by the week

At the beginning of every week, try planning for the coming days. It doesn’t have to be anything too crazy!
With this productivity hack, you can plan as much as you want. If you are looking for only a little to do, just look over your calendar and recognize all of your upcoming tasks and obligations. If you want to do a little more, you can also try planning you meals, to-do list, clothes, etc.
You can never plan too much!!
Productivity hacks for working from home
Working from home can become your new favorite thing if you have the right tools and tips to set up good systems for yourself! Here’s my best productivity hacks for working from home to help you make the most of your work day.
keep your space clean

While this tip is important whether you are working from home or in an office, it becomes even more crucial when you are home.
A tidy space will not only encourage you to work better, but will keep you focused for longer.
Try this system to keep your space clean all the time: The One Touch Rule to Organize Your Space For Good
block your time
One of the hardest things when working from home is separating work from home life. Blocking you time can make this as easy as can be!
Block out what time you will be spending on work and what time you will be spending for other tasks. Doing this will create boundaries for yourself to prevent the two from blending together.

Time management productivity hacks
For those of us struggling to manage our time (and let’s be honest, who isn’t!?), these tips are for you!
limit procrastination
Okay, easier said than done, right?
Wasting time procrastinating is one of the biggest time sucks in our day! Just think of the hours upon hours of your life you would get back if you just did the work when you sat down to do it.
Although everyone is different, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the one thing driving most of our procrastination is our phones (and specifically, social media).
As many tools as there are to limit your time on your phone and social media, it ultimately comes down to your own self-discipline. Yes, it may be easier to scroll on Instagram instead of working on homework. But, you are going to have to do that homework eventually, so why not just get it done so you no longer have to think about it?
This takes time, effort, and practice to have the discipline to put your phone away and do what you need to do. BUT, after a while, it becomes second nature! You got this!
prioritize your to do list

As much as making a to-do list helps to be productive, it can only do so much if it’s just a long list of tasks. Instead, try prioritizing to tell yourself exactly what needs to get done.
Within your to-do list, mark off the top three tasks that have to get done. You can make them capital letters, highlight them, put a star next to them, whatever you want!
Once they are marked, work on getting those tasks done before anything else!
Productivity hacks to stay focused
Whether you’ve got school or work or whatever else, we all have our moments we need to stay focused, even when we’re feeling lazy. Here’s my best productivity hacks for girl bosses to stay focused.
take breaks and remember to rest
It might sound counterproductive, but you need to rest if you want to be able to focus. None of us can focus for hours upon hours straight. We need to give our mind some time to rest in between… and that’s where breaks come in.

When doing school work, my best system is the 25, 5 method. Work for 25 minutes, break for 5, repeat as needed. This is the perfect time increment to get a decent amount of work done without getting burnt out.
In addition to those little breaks you take during the day doing work, you also need to give yourself rest days if you have the time. Something like a self care Sunday is the perfect way to relax and rest for the coming week.
get a good night sleep
Without a good night sleep, there is very little chance you are going to be able to focus for any extended period of time. I know it may seem like a hassle, but go to sleep early sometimes and get a decent amount of sleep as often as you can.
We all have busy lives, but sleep is something you need to prioritize to become your most productive self!
